On 18th January, Consul General Kang Yong met with Prof. TE Cloete, Vice Rector of Stellenbosh University.

Prof. Cloete said that with the robust development of China-South Africa relations as solid foundation and great momentum, Stellenbosh University is keen to have in-depth cooperation and exchanges with China's academic institutions by enhancing current programs and expanding to broader projects in future.

Consul General Kang shared with Prof. Cloete's veiw on China-South Africa relations. He said as one of leading universities in South Africa and in African continent, Stellenbosh University has its own advantages in terms of higher education and research. There is great potential between Stellenbosh University and its counterparts in China. The Consulate welcomes and will facilitate such cooperation in efforts to promote exchanges between our two countries in areas of education, academic research and people.
