|Notice on Extended Closure of Consular Services|
According to the announcement by H.E. President Cyril Ramaphosa on 23rd April, South Africa will continue to be on nationwide lockdown as from 1st May 2020. During this period, international travel is banned, and the public is encouraged to stay at home.
To follow the South African government’s imperative to contain the virus and save lives, the closure of consular service of the Consulate General of China in Cape Town will be extended as from 1st May 2020 until further notice.
