Mr.Shi Weiqiang Consul-General of the Chinese Consulate General in Cape Town attended the founding ceremony of Association of Teachers of Chinese in South Africa (ATTSA)

      On Dec 15th, Consul General Shi Weiqiang  attended the founding ceremony of Association of Teachers of  Chinese in South Africa (ATTSA). He said that with the healthy development of Sino-SA relations, more and more SA people want to understand China and know more about the Chinese culture. The Chinese language, as one of the most important carriers of the Chinese culture, becomes a linguistic tool, which needs to be studied.  "The booming of learning Chinese " enhanced the cultural and personnel exchanges between the two countries. Consul General Shi also hoped the founding of ATTSA will make contribute to the spread of the Chinese culture and promotion of the friendship of the two peoples. 

     Teachers of Chinese exchanged their experience in teaching Chinese.Mr.Wei Yanggen, first secretary of the Education Section of Chinese Embassy, also attended the ceremony.
